Our Patron

St. Paul, once a persecutor of Christians, became the “Apostle to the Gentiles” after a dramatic encounter with Christ on the road to Damascus. He wrote much of the New Testament and established early Christian communities throughout the Mediterranean.

 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race. — 2 Timothy 4:7.

• Community Spirit: The St. Paul Anbiyam in Qusais is a community that values “Transformation and Knowledge.” Just as St. Paul was transformed by the Word, we seek to be transformed through the study of Scripture. We are an intellectually curious and spiritually hungry group, always looking to deepen our understanding of the faith. Our spirit is one of “Outreach.” We encourage our members to be apostles in their own right—sharing their faith with colleagues and neighbors. Our weekly gatherings are not just for ourselves, but a “training ground” to become better witnesses for Christ in the wider Qusais area.
